Day 3

Yarmouth to Dell Quay

weather conditions were slightly different today.. flat as a mill pond, and weren't we grateful..

although the was very little wind, we had the tide behind us, so managed to sail nearly all the way back doing an astonishing 9 knots :) (We only have a small boat :])

Back at the entrance to the harbour we spotted the 1000 of dinghys, like on the way out, however this time they were doing serious racing across the main channel of the harbour - why? i'm not really sure. some pretty hairy moments when they all decided to tack so they were heading straight towards us, us only having the sails up and having to stick to the channel were a bit stuck. luckily we escaped with no bumps or scratches :)

I did enjoy the trip - but I'm not sure I'll be doing it again any time soon..
