A little saving grace: Callum's sandy toes, the graceful toeprint of the little lines under grains, peeping out at the end of the day.

Reuben's only ill day this 6 week holiday which just happened to be when Sarah and Alfie (mog70) were due to visit so we could spend the day by the seaside. A great disappointment. The night was long with Reuben throwing up on an empty stomach, a stiff reminder of his vulnerability. We spent the day watching daytime TV whilst Joe took Callum out to play, dodging the ever present drizzle of today, and bringing me back fish and chips for dinner in the evening. Handing Callum a little piece of the haddock, he let out a little cry "More please Mama" and grabbed the great big whale of a piece instead.
