Dead tree...

...yup, definitely dead.

I blipped this tree in our garden before, and it's not changed much! It had been sick for quite a number of years though, before it finally decided it had had enough this year. We're going to get it chopped down before winter, so hopefully it'll not come crashing down into the neighbour's outhouse in strong winds...

A gorgeous, hot, sunny day today. Most unexpected. Spent the afternoon in Glasgow with wee C, having a browse round the shops and picking up last-minute school essentials for tomorrow (she HAD to have a new pencil case!). Then a barbecue in the garden, with lots of running-around vocalness from the kids, then kids bathed and ready for bed - although I did let wee C organise her new pencil case before she went upstairs to get her beauty sleep for her first day of school tomorrow.

Bet you can't guess what tomorrow's blip will be... :-)

p.s. I'm quite liking this new polarising filter - how blue does it make the sky?!!
