The pipes, the pipes!

One of wee D's favourite things (for some reason) is the sound of bagpipes, so we were a bit excited when the opportunity arose to take him and wee C to the World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green today!

We all had a fantastic time, the weather was good, as was the music, very inspiring. Wee C was quite taken with the Highland dancers - will maybe have to look into getting her some lessons! And wee D loved the pipe bands - bopping away and clapping his hands to the music.

Maybe one day he'll be earning some extra pocket money by playing the pipes at folks' weddings... I would be so proud... :-)

So this blip is for wee D today. No idea what band these guys were part of (too much taking care of small children and not enough paying attention), but they were bloomin' good. Not too sure about the mustard kilts though....
