Another 'L' In the House

Last night we welcomed my friend Marissa and her hubby & son Lincoln into our house. They were visiting from Idaho and stayed overnight with us. They also brought their two black labs, Chewy & Daisy, along. That made our puppy very happy to have friends to play with. They were traveling and visiting with friends and family on their way back home after her husband, Gary, was working on a job in Nevada. It has been 3 years since we have seen them, so we were excited to get to spend a little time with them. This blip photo is one that I took of them today right before they left. Their son, Lincoln, is such a cutie pie. He fit right in with the triple 'L's...Loren, Liam & Landon. He is 17 months old and such a good& sweet little guy. His beautiful blue eyes just melt you. We were sad to say goodbye and the visit was too short, but hopefully next time we'll have more time together.

After Gary, Marissa & Lincoln left for home...we headed to a 5th birthday party for Landon's friend, Bodie. It was at 'Go Bananas' in Lodi and everyone had a blast playing on all of the jumpy structures. When we got home, Gary headed out shortly after for church youth group. It was the night they welcomed the new freshmen into the group and they drove around our town on a 'video scavenger hunt'. The turnout was AWESOME....25 kids with 12 of them being new kids! They had 25 seats available in the scavenger hunt vehicles...so I know it was a 'God thing'.
