Play Days

Katie played in a wendy house for the first time today! We'd had a lovely day, a walk out this morning, then her swimming lesson. She was completely hyper during that and loved it, even more than normal. We went for a walk with a friend this afternoon and then took her to the play cafe for a drink (for us) and a crawl round (for her). She's begun to really love to get into little hidey spaces, but likes to first of all see me through part of it, so to convince her to go explore the house, i had to peep through the opposite end window so she would go investigate for the first time, and then she was so happy playing with the pots and pans, bashing the teapot against the taps, putting her head in the oven, that sort of normal kitchen behaviour!!
