How many times have I walked by this lock?
Oo, so many times!
I love walking along the towpath and I don't even have a dog!
Maybe I should get one?

This canal is just yards from my house, so it's very easy to go out for a stroll.
Alas, the sun had gone behind the clouds by the time I got here, but no matter.

If you come out here early enough in the day you will be rewarded with a glimpse of heron and occasionally deer. Beautiful at any time of year.
