Racing to the Bridge

Coming back to Detroit we raced the freighter, McKee & Sons back to the International Blue Water Bridge at Port Huron, Michigan and Sarina, Ontario. Canada is on the left and the USA is on the right. We beat him out by a short boat length.

This is becoming a regular appearance on the great lakes, a external vessel pushing a freighter around the lake. The old Lake Freighter is being replace by these new pushers...
