Watercolor memories

I spotted these two treasured paintings hanging conspicuously in the master's bedroom as I was doing some dusting today. These two survived a long journey, along with a handful memories from the Philippines into their new homeland.

I tried my fortune with painting a long time ago but it was a short stint. My medium was watercolor. These two were scenes from our first rented home in Bacolod. They are as old as my second son who just turned 16.

Perhaps when I retire, I'll pick up the brushes again.
