Hi folks, Joe here, with a last life.turns.update.

When we embarked on this project, I secretly set a final goal of 1,000 individual frames. I knew if we encouraged people to upload that many, the finished film would be long enough and diverse enough to realise our vision. With eight days left until the grand premiere and well over 800 frames already approved, it looks like we'll comfortably hit that target.

That's great news, and I know (because I've been conducting lots of secret tests) that the finished film is going to be something really quite special.

So we can either sit back, rest on our laurels, watch the last few frames roll in and enjoy next Thursday's premiere... or we could use these last eight days of the project to make it even bigger and better before putting it in front of the world.

I'm not the resting on laurels type, so I'm here to ask you to join me in a last push to see how far we can take this. The potential is there for a film several times the length of what we already have, if every Blip contributor adds just one more frame before next Thursday.

Have a bit of fun this weekend, grab your mum, dad, children or neighbour, ask them to strike a pose and upload it to Blip - it's your last chance to say you were involved.

If you're feeling a bit more ambitious, you have just enough days left to create your own loop of images (or finish one you're already started). If you're looking for a bit of inspiration, take a look the incredible creations already uploaded by delpwynd, wingpig, stewartbremner and teamdel. We're planning a permanent gallery of these after the project and it would be great to be able to include a few more.

The other thing I'll promise is that every contributor who's uploaded at least one image will receive a closing credit on the finished film.
