Unstaged - the final countdown

Hi folks.

A quick reminder that Unstaged : The Theatre of Everyday Life closes in just over a week, on 31 August.

To make sure our friends in the western hemisphere aren't pipped at the post, we're setting the actual cutoff point to midday UK time on 1 September. If you still have entries to submit, please make sure they're in place before then.

The response has been overwhelming - many thousands of images have been entered from every corner of the globe - and from the 2nd of September the Blipfoto community has a week to nominate ten entries to go forward to the final judging panel (which includes the legendary Jon Snow) the following week. We've devised a new voting system for this competition, which will make it easy and fun to vote on the much larger number of images - more on that on the 2nd.

The winners will then be announced at a special event towards the end of September. Again, more information on that later.
