Driving here is totally insane. I would never do it myself... but the people who do venture out on motorized/human-powered vehicles use EVERY POSSIBLE INCH OF SPACE. Between cars, motorcycles, pedestrians, bicycles, rickshaws, anything. Beeping is constant, but less of a gesture of anger and more a warning to everyone around. No traffic lights, just a few crossing guards at major intersections. It takes a while to get used to, but somehow the system actually functions.

One time, a taxi we were in got its sideview mirror clipped by a motorcycle and the glass broke. The taxi driver just folded it in and used the extra space it created.
