Lunchtime

Previously I have tried to fit a cycle into my day by accompanying Campbell on his trip to school. However as he passed his cycling proficiency test at the end of the last school year I have now been informed that I am no longer allowed to go with him.

Harrumph!

So I will now attempt to fit a cycle into the middle of my day and go out at lunchtime instead.

Today, as an incentive on what was a pretty cold and grey day I took a route around the island (more or less) which ended up next to a large bowl of leek and tattie soup at the cafe.

I devoured my delicious soup, had a good chat to the blipper who hangs out there and then rolled happily homewards.
