Door Number Three

As Monty Hall used to say: "Door number one, door number two, or door number three. You choose and get the prize behind the door..." The long gone, (but probably on reruns) game show Let's Make a Deal!

Well for those of you who have been following my blip images the last couple of days, you'll know that this is door number 3. The third door I've shot that represents relics from the past installed side-by-side at an outdoor shopping center, (neatly out of the way so most folks just walk by this great little piece of history without noticing).

I may post a triptych of the three together, but I'll need to get to this location early enough to avoid parked cars in front of them and have a wide angle that will probably distort a bit - unless I decide that a panorama is in order. I'll put that in my blipfolio within the next couple of days.

However, I'm kind of into this whole "door thing" now. And I am finding that I have a lot of interesting doors around San Jose to explore. I don't know if I'll make it a continuous series or just add one now and then, but keep visiting to see where this may go. Please comment freely and tell me what you think. Remember, for every door that closes, another one opens... In future images, I may decide to take a peek inside some of these doors.

PS - These doors were all shot at different times of day - Door #1 in the late evening, door #2 in the late afternoon, and door #3 in mid-day. When I do the triptych it will have to be in the early morning. A little variation to make things interesting.

Having fun!
