Woop Woop!

Today was HB's race day. A 2.2K swim in lake Vaujany. A 100K bike across three mountain passes, ending at the top of Alpe D'Huez. Then a 21K run at 2000m altitude around the ski station. Right from the start, with music blaring out from the loudspeakers (Highway to Hell being the most memorable, just as this picture was taken and the race was about to start..), to the helicopter flying around, and the crazy, could-only-be-french supporters, it was definitely a day to remember. Supporter or competitor. HB had a great swim and bike, but a tough old run after nutrition/stomach problems. He definitely earned his t-shirt today!
