Dubai Day 4

Today we had to check out from our hotel in the old Dubai and leave for our hotel in the newer and more modern part of Dubai. But before we did that, we took a trip to the local fish market. This market was full of sea food and fish the likes of which Ive never seen before. From shrimps, squids, mussels, sharks, tuna, salmon to local varieties like Abiya and Skeikh Ibrahim, everything was present there ... you name it, you got it.

Next we visited a garments and home linen shop called Fabindia. It was a very nice shop and we did end up purchasing a few things. Came back to the hotel and walked around it for a while, had a nice lunch at their restaurant called Boulvar and then checked out and took a taxi to Kempinski the mall of Emirates.

Kempinski is by far the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. After resting for a while we went to the mall of Emirates. As soon as you leave the lobby of the hotel, you find yourself in the mall. The mall is also very huge with every possible brand from all over the world. After dinner we saw Despicable Me in 3D. I must say it was a very nice experience and my very first 3D animated movie.

We toured Dubai as people normally don't do. The things and places we have been to people don't normally do. They are interested in fashion, shopping and the night life but we saw it as tourists and ended up getting tanned because of the scorching heat
