it's hot again - at last! the children have taken advantage of the fact that our lane is empty, no walkers (too hot) and no cars - they've taken the hosepipe out the front and are soaking each other.
We've had a quietly busy day. We're all tired from a late night last night, Flea is even injured after a nasty fall on a steep hill - she went flying off the scooter and has managed to graze most of her body...typical Flea injury!
Himself goes back to work tomorrow so the daily grind will be back, meaning that I have to stick to timetables (schools and trains) and have very little pootling freedom to be ten minutes late or to dither a bit in the garden centre...ah well, I guess earning money is a sad necessity in life and, at least, we both quite enjoy our jobs.
Am about to cook as Sunday evening 'once round the garden' feast to give us plenty of strength for the week ahead.
