Loud and Proud
Yet another lovely day has been had today. Went for cake with K and A. They had a new flavour that I was allowed today. Yes it ended up being the usual flavour but with berries on top but still, it was a nice change. We then headed to meet K's friend M for some tasty lunch. On the advice of numerous people I took a wander in to Real Foods. I think I could have died and gone to heaven, they had dairy free cheeses, they had both of the types of ice cream that I'm allowed (though couldn't buy any), they had dairy free tortellini, vials of guarana that was taken off the market for ages due to regulations to do with the alcohol content, and my truffles (though I saw those once I'd paid). Will be going back there more often.
We then headed up to the Royal Mile. Now I know what you're thinking, it's the festival and I hate Edinburgh during the festival. Yes, that's true, but A was singing in the Loud & Proud choir to promote their concert next weekend.
As I'd braved the crowds that far, I figured I may as well make the most of it so I put on my happy face, got my camera out and went snapping. I got some great shots but figured it was only right to feature A and the choir as that was my reason for being there. Not the best shot but it showed the largest section of choir. I also had great fun wiith the flierers. I made them work to sell their show to me before accepting a flier and they seemed to enjoy someone taking an interest rather than politely accepting a flier only to put it in the bin afterwards. I think next year I might actually try and get to a show or two as some sounded really good!
