THE LOG FIRE

Back in Lavers Hill after two or three week absence, and it's freezing, the wind comes straight off the Southern Ocean. Hence the fire.

Last week there was a huge storm here, some areas recieved 150 to 250 mm of rain in 24 hrs. There was flooding of all the lower areas such as Gellibrand, land slides and trees down, many of the local raods were blocked for one reason or another.
