It's a silly hat

I'm getting to the point when being at home, by myself all day, all week, is getting a little old. I've been keeping up with my exercising and I really do look forward to that every day now (yay, finally!). But, I am so bored! I would go out and explore the city for the day, but today in particular is beyond gloomy and has been raining nonstop since the early hours of morning. Fingers crossed I'll be able to get out later if the weather lets up!

In the meantime, to entertain myself, I've been thinking of all the little hobbies I've wanted to do while school was in gear. I'm caught up with my scrap booking and have summer photos in the mail on their way, did some reading of leisure books, and have been getting back into crocheting! I wanted to use this lovely, soft, vibrantly colored yarn I bought for something warm and cozy, like a hat! Well, this is it, two rows short of being finished and something tells me my gauge is off. :-p Might have to re-think my approach to this one! :-)
