The guns of Glasgow

Another pic of a building showing Glasgow's maritime past (& a nasty building trying to peek in). As this is a 5 minute walk away fromthe River Clyde I'm assuming it was a house or possibly an office of some very rich merchant.

If you look closely you can see stone guns poking out around the turret and towards the bottom some very strangely dressed sailors. I'm hoping they are meant to be in period costume. In fact this is almost a how many references to the sea are carved into the sandstone type building.
