Disappointed but dedicated

Me, not the boys in the picture! I'm disappointed that England didn't manage a repeat of 2003 but dedicated in that I'm blipping at 03:45 before I hit the hay.

What a night though - drinks and dinner in the Hilton, before walking to Geoffry's at the Marine Plaza for the half-midnight kick off. Got there early to bag a viewing spot but it was already packed because India were playing Australia in the 20-20 International (cricket). India beat the Ozzies (again) and the place was jumping! These two guys included. It was a great atmosphere that merged into a very noisy and alcohol-fuelled Rugby World Cup Final.

I'm not so sure they made the right call on dis-allowing England's try, but despite the final result, we had a great night with other Expats, particularly some South Africans, who kept our glasses topped up! That was a good result....
