Paint The Town

Returning to the car park in Beverley today I saw this painting on the gable end of a row of terrace houses.

Mary and Fred Elwell were local artists who drew inspiration from their home town. Fred bequeathed many of their paintings to Beverley Art Gallery. They have now produced high quality replicas of 22 of those canvases and placed them at various locations around the town.
