Evening Turbines

Travelling north today with my Dad and Aunty Gill to attend a family funeral in Thurso.

It's been about twenty years since I was up in Thurso...a long time.

These were new on the journey, the turbines of the Causeymire. I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding wind farms, on the whole I like them. I think they add to the landscape rather than blot it. I think the turbines have their own beauty.

The Causeymire is obviously near the end of our five and a half hour journey and we were glad to arrive at out hotel and enjoy a nice meal.
