Way out

Late this morning I sat in a long over-running meeting, at the back of the room, under the air vents which had been turned on to blow warm air. My eyelids were drooping and my head was nodding ... when it finally ended I've never reached so quickly for emergency flapjack from the staff restaurant and made the brisk walk in the fresh air to a strong black coffee in Starbucks.

It was in my still semi-comatose state that I looked out at this view from the window and somehow decided it would make a good picture. I guess I just liked the way that on a supposed summer's day just one bright thing stood out in a sea of grey, pointing to a way out of here ...

I'm making too much of this - it's Sainsbury's car park for goodness sake!
