The big three - o - o
It's always the same here. You just try to do something cool with chicken feed to celebrate the third red balloon, when the chicks come and screw up. Thinking of turning them into soup and selling it for a few dimes a cup.
For the most part these last 100 blips were shot in Africa, or to be more accurate, Ghana and Uganda. That's what makes this red ballon the most special of the three I've received now, for blip gives me good memories flicking back through my journal. These are a few which mean the most for me:
Nosy youth of Ducie village
Knitting the nets
Beach life
Off-shore fishing
Looking into a mirror
Oh you boys!
The haertebeast journey
Mountain gorillas
Zebra crossing
Blipping has been with ups and downs. Firstly because blipping in Africa (both photography and uploading) comes with considerably more challenges than back at home, and secondly because the deadline for my thesis is approaching rapidly, which forced me to revise priorities and pay less attention to blip. Furthermore, for the first time in my short blip life I have some gaps in my journal. Oh gosh. Most of them should be filled one day, as I have still some Ghana days to be completed. but there will be a few left. Despite all this, Blip keeps me hooked and I can't see myself abandoning it soon.
Thanks all.
