On the Farm

Today we went to the farm(ing museum)! it was a last minute decision, we went with friends we saw yesterday and it was well worth it - even more so as they had a season pass, so it cost us nothing! there's lovely animals, huge big tractors, a play barn and picnic area. And there's a viking village and roman fort! Consequently Katie is now proficient in ancient Scandavian battle tactics. Slightly less skilled in their bread-making techniques, on account of her sleeping through it. However, she did still come away smelling like a viking kitchen, thanks to the genuine fire! it was a wonderful day. Just to finish it off, we're off for tea with family. Fab fab fab!

(at Christmas, they turn the whole place in a wonderland, with soooo many incredibly exciting things, elves and fairies, activities and animals, all topped off by a train ride and santa bringing presents!)
