"Grandad Tweenies"

22months 6days

This smile was when she realised that "grandad" had come on to Tweenies (Max). She gets very excited and shouts "grandad, grandad, tweenies" at the television. I'm not sure whether this will insult Grandad or not!

It felt like we fitted a full day into just the morning today. We had a play together, before we popped out to the shop to get a birthday present. We then went to see Ava and her parents. Katie was having a play date with them whilst I did a job. She sounds to have had a LOT of fun. They played nicely, ate Becky out of house and home, and tormented played beautifully with their cat.

I met them at swimming, and Katie and Ava were in the pool. Katie spotted me and I got lovely smiles. She was extremely excited at swimming. She did a lot of solo swimming and a fair amount of her fabulous halfbounce/half swim that she does sometimes. She enjoyed playing with the woggle for a while, did lots of jumping of the side. They both did about three swivel entries then looked as if to say "no big deal about that" and wouldnt do anymore. She did crocodiles along the steps, and played under the magic bridge. Randomly in the middle of the class she announced to me "daisy cat" - she'd remembered playing with daisy cat at Ava's. And daisycat obviously made an impression as she's said "bobbobs daisycat" this afternoon too.

She was shattered after swimming and wasnt impressed when I got her dressed. She soon flaked, although she was still awake when I put her in the pushchair, and even stayed asleep after I transferred her back in the car. After a busy morning, we've had a couple of hours pottering at home, which has been rather nice. She's eaten her tea wearing a cowboy hat and waving her (new) fairy wand, that she very much loves - thankyou bobbobs!! xx
