Light with Shadow

These shadows caught my attention early this afternoon--sunlight reflected from a car on the street, passing through leaves and coming to rest on the door of our bedroom closet. I put up my free hand as I took the blip, to cast an additional shadow.

The motion of the leaves' shadows reminded me of the an effect that I'd experienced as a child: In summer, a street light would cast leaves' shadows on my bedroom wall at night. I remember it as wonderful, and I've never experienced anything quite like it since.
