I wonder how the sales of CD players are going now. The choice seems to be between the MP3 and the unstoppable return of vinyl. As an old romantic, I'd like to get a turntable again. I haven't used one in earnest since my teenage years in the 80's - the era of the 12" single. I believe one of my first pieces of viynl was the 12" of Prince's 1999 / Little Red Corvette, which was one of the finest double A sides since The Beatles. I seem to remember a rather risque snap of His Purpleness on the back too. Anyway, enough random reverie :)
