Black Swans.
We have had the most lovely day today. We took Jack and Erin to a small animal park just down the road from us. It used to be a farm but they have changed part of it and they have birds, wallaby, meerkats and other small animals. They really enjoyed going from one animal to another and forever asking "can I hold it". No holding but they did have the chance to feed goats (Erin was too afraid), stroke guinea pigs, and feed birds. They also had a play area where they ran around and we had lunch.
Came home and went off to pick blackberries, ended up walking to Uplyme a couple of miles away and stopping at the pub. Met a lovely older couple down on their holiday. The twins as per usual won them straight over and held court for ages. They then had great fun running around and jumping up and down steps, being distracted talking I didn't notice they had gone quiet (a silly rookie mistake) I turned to see what they were doing and they had pinched the bag with the blacberries in and were stuffing them in their mouths. They had eaten the lot!!!!! They had stained faces, hands, arms and clothes. Hadn't got my camera but got a few on darrens mobile. No idea how to get them on the computer though so will work it out and link to it another time. Walked half way home and then caught the bus which they also love to do now (they used to scream and have to be dragged on) so they had the best end to their day. They have now gone straight to sleep and I am having a lovely glass of wine so a pretty good ending to mine too.
Had so many pictures I liked today and was torn between the one I have posted and this one.
