La Piscine

My first photo, and perhaps not the greatest photo, but it seems to sum up my rather odd experience of working hard in france for three months in a town that really has to be described as a ghost town. La Piscine was truly deserted. There is simply nothing in this town. There was an attendant though lurking somewhere casting me a very odd glance now and then, thinking 'Brits!'
