It's BBQ time!
Well, it was last night.
After a succesful day fishing with dad, we had a mega barbie with some friends!
The weather was sunny but it was cool , so somehow I ended up outside cooking while everyone else stayed inside eating.
We had, prawn skewers, lamb burgers, lemon and thyme chicken thighs, spicy chicken drumsticks, lamb kebabs, chicken kebabs, spare ribs, sausages, Thai chicken skewers, garlic mushrooms, red onion, green salad, crusty bread, cheeses, wine, beer, cider, lemonade, and chocolates.
When I got back in , having managed to get one lamb burger and a prawn skewer, hot and flustered, smelling very smoky, every one was sat around, sated. I grabbed a beer and joined the group, at which point the Boss said "Can you chop some wood and light the chimenia?"
So I did.
Everyone stayed inside commenting on how good the roaring fire looked, but nobody came outside!
About 11,30 the party broke up (after a 6.30 start) and cries of "We must do this again soon" rang down the road.
Not on my watch, we won't!
Oh....the photo?
It's what was left, a couple of sausages, 2 thighs, 4 drumsticks, 2 lamb kebabs and some spare ribs.
Guess what we're having for tea tonight!
