Fire in the Sky

Well here at UCI we are very close to where the fires are. In fact, today near the Vista del Campo residence places, the fire was right near them and they had a power outage! So everywhere it is flying ash here and there, and strong winds blow the smoky air into your lungs. I have a cold still so it was like DYING just walking 10 min. around in the air.

So this is a view of the sun from my residence hall around 5:10 p.m. and you can see the smoky air has diffused some of the sun's intensity.

My room smells like a barbecue. This is horrible.
