View from Strinesdale

After a miserable morning of heavy rain showers, by the time the rain stopped it was too late to go 'anywhere'.

We had some leaflets for local walks, and picked one for Strinesdale. Less than 10 minutes in the car, down unfamiliar streets and we were there.

There was a pretty walk around the two reservoirs at Strinesdale, plus the promise of some deer-spotting (we weren't lucky today). We took a detour off the trail to a pub, and had a swift half and some pub grub.

It's funny how 'anywhere' turned out to be right on our doorstep!
