Another Windswept Coastline

Had a wonderful day with Ann, who is probably my oldest friend - in that I have known her for 33yrs, not that she is very old! She now lives in Silverdale, which is a really lovely place for dog walks, Ollie had a great time. He's not seen a lot of trees or run through woods much before and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Ann's dog died last year and is buried in her garden. Her grandson pointed out that she did still have a dog, it's just that now he's dead.

We also walked past the field where I went camping with the Girl Guides about 40 years ago! We travelled there in the back of a removal truck, all piled in on top of the tents and camping stuff - were there risk assessments and health and safety in those days? We all survived and have a brilliant time anyway!
