fresh start

My window boxes were a bit of a disaster this year as I tried to be a bit more creative.

They took ages to bed in, then one type of plant grew like mad cutting out the light to the others, looked OK for about 2 weeks then completely went crazy with growth, drooped all over the place and then became infested with caterpillars which ate them all - and it is only August!

So I went back to the tried and trusted winter pansies which will be with us right through until spring when I will put back in the geraniums!
