All the stars are coming out tonight
Based upon the clear skies and sudden drop of temperature, Corin and I agree that Autumn is here. We pondered on the question "Where did summer go?" and realised that the answer is "Spain".
The holidays are officially over. Well not quite, but judging by banter taking place elsewhere, there will be a number of us in school tomorrow. I myself am planning on going to the gym first, then going into school all pumped up with endorphins. Could be fun.
Kids are back in on Wednesday. Battle commences at 8.45.
Been busy today doing prep. I'm teaching PSHE this year (I volunteered. There is method in my madness. I am going to have some fun) as well as my normal ICT courses. Almost everything is prepared, coursework marked (8 pieces left ...thats for tomorrow. Have marked 150+ portfolios already this summer). My list of jobs has got smaller. I have done all of the results analysis at least a week ahead of where I thought I'd get it done. I'm pretty organised for the start of term really. Something is going to go horribly pear-shaped. I can feel it.
I stood in the back garden, messing about with the bulb setting on my camera, shooting on manual focus because autofocus (in the dark) won't even attempt to do anything other than zoom in, and out, and in, and out, making strange robot dance noices. Entertaining, but not helpful.
Right, must go and retrieve the laundry and start the ironing.
Nighty night.
