Hummingbird

We have been adopted by a group of hummingbirds, though it might have something to do with the hummingbird feeder we planted next to the aloe vera plants. Every morning while we are drinking our coffee, they flit around our small patio, stopping occasionally for a quick drink of sugar water. More than one of these fascinating creatures is in the neighborhood, often fighting for space at the feeder. We think word is getting around as each day there seems to be more hummingbirds flocking around.

I shot a bunch of photos of this hummingbird in various positions. This was the best, drinking from the feeder and with the wings in a good position. It looks like he/she is looking right at me wondering why I am interrupting breakfast with my incessant clicking.
