Hot shoe shuffle

Amazing how much you can get done when you sit down on your butt and just get on with it, I find. All manner of admin stuff sorted and joyously all with the assistance of very nice and helpful people to restore my faith in human nature.

Big excitement of the day for the youngest family member was getting her first pair of tap shoes. Not surprisingly our combination of wooden and slate floors has proved to be a marvellous place to practice.

Lovely afternoon catching up with a friend and her kids we haven't seen all summer. Kids all disappeared and we sat in the garden, in the sun, drinking tea. Lovely.

Tomorrow is our 10th wedding anniversary so we are off on a little celebratory trip. Tonight we are watching Casino Royale to get us in the mood...
