The harvest is home

The light was beautiful early this morning - and though I didn't get a seat on the more blip-worthy seaward side of the train, East Lothian was looking pretty good. The fields are scattered with straw bales - mostly cylindrical like these, although a few farmers seem to have reverted to the rectangular type.

I was aware that today's blip would be my 300th, so of course I made sure that there were exactly 300 straw bales....well, so long as you include the ones that were out of shot behind the hedge.

;-)
