Birds.

All the little house martins that have been nesting around the eaves of our house and the neighbours house are starting to prepare for their flight south for the winter. I think they're a bit early this year, or maybe it's just my imagination. It's been fun to see them swooping around catching insects to feed their young and I love hearing the youngsters cheeping away waiting for mum or dad to come back with a tasty bug to eat. I'm sure it will just be a few days or so before we see the last ones leaving and then we'll have to wait until next spring to see them again.

The only good thing about them going is I don't have to clean their droppings up anymore ;-)
