the day out

...today was a family trip day...a pilgrimage point about 250km from Hyderabad. This is one of the set of 12 such related pilgrimage places. Mom had already done 9 before this and actually wants to finish all the 12 some day. One more knocked off her list today.

We hired an SUV, which to our disappointment was not in a very good condition. I sat at the back of the vehicle for the onwards journey. All the shaking and jumping of the vehicle on bad roads shook every bone and muscle of my body. For the rest of the journey, I moved to the middle seat and it was much better after that.

Most of the trip was about getting there and coming back. We didn't really spend a lot of time at the venue itself.
