On the shoulders of giants...

Another iPhone blip again today. Not much photographing, too much getting on with stuff! This is Ben and his daddy as we went to get a cheeky Chinese takeaway. We decided at lunchtime that it would be takeaway for dinner as it required very little effort, and the afternoon could be spent sorting out one of the dumping grounds downstairs without worrying about making dinner.

It's been good. Cupboards that were taken over over a year ago by stuff for the rewire have been reclaimed, all the electrical bits are now in labelled storage tubs in Steve's workshop, where they should be.

And the cupboards are now mine to put all our art and craft stuff in - and, if I ask nicely, I might even get my sewing machine retrieved from the attic to be put in my cupboards! Not that I'd have time to use it, but it would be nice just knowing that I could, if I wanted to :)

So all the art and craft stuff is being moved, and the cupboards it was all in can be got rid of - and the dresser they were perched on can finally be moved across the kitchen to its new home, and we can have a bigger dining room. Result!

In Ben news, this morning at church I took him to crèche. I decided that he would be fine as Libby was there with Nathaniel, and I thought I'd see if I could leave him. I asked for a kiss to say 'bye but he wasn't interested, but it wasn't too long after that that I did go. I think this is the first time I've successfully left him in crèche. That I've dropped him off, not daddy, or Libby. Amazing! Amazing to be able to concentrate (at least, as well as I could with a six-week-old looking gorgeous next to me) for the whole of the preach.

In other Ben news, he decided as we were scoffing our takeaway that Grandad was outside. And demanded to be let into the garden to find him! Grandad is a 4.5 hr drive away....... and wishes he was here......
