Despite being ill, Kerr insisted on trying on his Daddy's new specs today, and even smiled for the camera!

It seems that what I thought was extreme teething is actually some kind of viral thing. When we woke up this morning we noticed that Kerr was covered in spots all over his legs, and some on his arms. None on his torso though - very odd. Phoned NHS24 for advice and they said it might be viral and to alternate Calpol with Calprofen. He seems a bit better in himself today but is still not really eating much at all :-(

We missed out on going to a christening and a family barbeque today for fear of Kerr passing something on to other babies. The highlight of our day was walking Fudge to the bramble bushes and filling a plastic tub to stock up in the freezer until we have enough for jam and / or fruit pies, yum!

I'm going to the GP tomorrow morning anyway, so will take him along and get them to look at the spots. Hopefully they might have gone by the morning.

Typical - he has never been ill and chooses the week I go back to work and the week he starts at the childminder to get a weird rash!

Eee Gads - just noticed the 1 year ago blip, I was the size of a house and 4 days away from having Kerr! Happy 1st Anniversary to J and S, xxx
