Today's the day ................. for garden ornaments

Seeing a few of the amazing collection of garden gnomes etc gladders and Wifie uncovered last week, reminded me of something that I found at the weekend while hacking back the vegetation .........

It was this little crocodile which had been given to us as a Christmas present many years ago by younger son Rob. It had become completely engulfed by the sedum and long forgotten about.

It actually gave me quite a start when I trowelled it out - its little beady eye undimmed - and a look on its face which clearly said, "...about time, too"!
