agawa bay

if any place defines my memories of camping as a child, agawa bay is it. tucked behind the trees lining the first part of this bay are some pretty stellar campsites. from where i stand on the rocks rising out of the water marking the end of the beach, the world seems endless, open water stretching out in the distance. the perfect place to say 'hasta luego' to lake superior.

and thankfully the sun came out today, making it just warm enough to manage a quick jump into the lake. refreshing as always!
