Demons, Durham and Damien Ricecake
It was back to pre-school for Gracie Pie this morning. She went in very happily and took herself straight to the computer to play 'the monster game', where she has to click on little doors to reveal the demons behind. She stayed for lunch for the first time, and seemed to eat most of it up.
This afternoon we went across to Durham to see my sister 'Auntie Christine'. We popped to the Arnison Centre to the mega Sainsbury's and also to explore Lakeland. Seriously that place is a cook's dream. I could spend a fortune in there if only I had one! Ophelia is still not 100%. She seems to have a tummy bug that she can't quite shake. My sister seems to have caught it too, unfortunately.
We were a bit peckish after that, so stopped off for a bit of tea in the Sainsbury's cafe before heading back to the house. My brother in law was home from work by this time, so the girls got to play with their Uncle Paul :)
This is the only photo I took today. There were quite a few lovely views on the way home, but it was getting late, so I didn't want to stop. The highlight of the journey home was Grace's increasing interest in music. She bopped away to Sidney Samson, sang along to B.O.B. and then said she really liked the song by 'Damien Ricecake'.
