Memories.........

This blip was inspired by Lynda's comment on my blip 2 days ago - of her memory of the staff canteen in an old hospital.

As is the way, that old victorian hospital is now being converted into 'des-res' & entertainment complex and the hospital is now housed in a custom built modern building.

Todays blip is one of a series of engravings that hang outside the new canteen, on them they record staff's memories of working in the old hospital...

.. in case you can't make it out, it says;

'The old steam system - going to wd 13 to kick the bed pan washer so that ward 7's one would work'....

I miss that old place..
