not too bad

I am a much better Mother than I am a gardener. Kids are easy, it is a pretty consistent all year round cycle of feeding and watering, hugging and listening to them and watching them grow.

Plants, well they just stump me - this type of soil or this, shade or not, protect from wind / rain / cold and frosts. Feed with a fertiliser (but not too much) and then prune but only at certain times of year.

Some (many!) of my plants 'fail to thrive' unlike my kids who are grow from strength to strength but here is my little success...a red pepper, beautiful and rosy and nearly ready to be picked.

There is hope yet for me to be a green fingered Mama!
